About Me

Counselling and Psychotherapy

Firstly, may I say well done in acknowledging that you feel the need to talk and work through why you’re feeling or behaving the way you are. When I first exploring Counselling, I was wondering who will be best for me to talk to? Who can I trust, who won’t judge me? What if they think I’m silly for seeking help? Even questioned if other people needed it more than me am I wasting the Counsellors time which could be used for someone who really needs it…

Firstly, may I say well done in acknowledging that you think you need to talk and work through why you’re feeling or behaving the way you are. When I first explored Counselling, I was wondering who will be best for me to talk to? Who can I trust, who won’t judge me? What if they think I’m silly for seeking help? Even questioned if other people needed it more than me am I wasting the Counsellors time which could be used for someone who really needs it…

As soon as I entered the Therapy room and started talking, I knew I had made the right decision and was not been judged, they valued our time together and helped me become the person I am today!

Therefore, I want to give you the confidence in knowing no matter the problem or even to just talk, I’m here to give you comfort in knowing, I will not judge you, you can trust me, it’s all confidential, I will value our time together and no matter how big or small you feel the problem is you will never be wasting my time.

After a personal bereavement, I decided to change my career because I found myself wanting more from life. Upon personal reflection, I realised I wanted more from life, wanted to be confident and do something I enjoy doing, helping others but also gaining control over my life and creating the life I wanted to live.

Other the course of the next few years, I worked hard both in work (retail) and outside of work in university and volunteering as a Counsellor at a local Charity for clients from all walks of life. In 2017 I qualified as a Counsellor and how did my life change!

I now love what I do, love seeing people grow, reducing their anxiety, depression, taking control of their thoughts and enjoy their own life’s once again!
