Counselling and Psychotherapy

To make Counselling more assemble for everyone, I am now offering sessions through Zoom and Telephone, making your life easier!

Adults

Adult live! What can I say? We didn’t think it will like this when we were young did we? Now we have so much to worry about, so much to think about and not much time for you to sit and think of you and what is happening for you! When was the last time to you took time to just be.. 

Lets think about you! Lets work together and explore what is making you think and feel the way you do. Incorporating techniques from theories including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy and Transaction Analysis. 

I can show you how to use these tools in everyday life helping you to grow confidence, think clearer, get rid of guilt, shame and pain. Let me show you a way to a more peaceful and happy life.

Children and Teenagers 

They are the most precious thing aren’t they! They are born good, honest and happy little babies, but sometimes how they see and process life experiences at a young age can leave them feeling hurt, angry, sad and lonely. They may feel a loss of control, all these emotions are then acted out in the only way they know how. They can carry this throughout their live and can determine how they proceed in life.

Through therapy I will use a variety of exercises to help them express how they are feeling and work through their emotions. These include Sand Tray Therapy (bringing the unconscious out), the use of Muppets for role play (help challenge unusual thoughts), Art work, (expressing how they view their world) and worksheets, (helping them to express and see things from a different view.)

I hold a current DBS and am Safeguarding trained with Safeguarding Policies in place.

Couple Therapy

Being in a relationship is hard isn’t it? Don’t get me wrong you have your happy times but on the days that it’s not it’s hard! You both Love each other, that is why you stay, that’s why your seeking help! 

If your both struggling or one of you is, seek therapy to find your way back to those happy moments whilst creating new ones. 

With Couple therapy we can start to look at why your feeling the way you do, how to communicate on a deeper level, how to bring the spark back and how to bring you both to a point where your happy again. 

Sometimes this is together but sometimes it’s not and that is ok! Lets work together to make you both happy, whatever that looks like for you.

Group Therapy £25 per session. 

I am able to offer Group therapy for your needs, however I am partnering up with JB Therapy Services, together we are developing a new online Group Therapy for people who are suffering with Low Self-Esteem and confidence issues. 

Details: 

When and how?

Sessions are limited to 8 people to allow growth and space to build your confidence. 

There will be three groups, they are: 

Tuesdays evenings, 6.30pm to 8pm. Weekly sessions.

Dates are: September 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, October 4th and 11th. 

Wednesday mornings, 11am to 12.30pm. Weekly sessions.

Dates are: September 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, October 5th and 12th. 

Friday Mornings, 9.30am to 11am. Weekly sessions.

Dates are: September 16th, 23rd, 30th, October 7th, 14th and 21st.

Sessions will be held through Zoom.  

Attending:

Will be myself and groups of 8, the same people each week for 6 weeks. 

What you will learn and achieve: 
  • How confidence and self-esteem is developed
  • How your habits can be contributing to your low self-worth.
  • Educating you on the Neuroscience relating to building confidence 
  • Helping you to remap your brain and neuro pathways that contributes to low self esteem and low confidence. 
  • Learn how to challenge your self-limited beliefs. 
  • Learn how to start listening to your inner-critic and learn from it and challenge it!
  • All of this whilst growing your own Inner Coach!
